    Thanks Stake I have no boys so thathat rules them out. I didn't think they would molt at that young age. As far as laying she is laying however with the lack of light and the colder weather they have all slowed way down,my 3 easter eggers,have quit completely and I get 3 sometimes 4 eggs a day...

    Our girls are 17 weeks old today and we got our first egg. It is just a tiny thing. I am not sure which of my girls laid the egg I am thinking it was our SLW. Hope the eggs get bigger. Very Eggcited

    I have never bought meat birds from Myers however in March I did but 8 layers and so far so good they will be 16 weeks old Tuesday. I did end up with two roosters bUT thathe did not bother me as I traded both for other layers. Myers was very good to deal with.

    lady thanks ......that,is,the plan for this,evening to try and get in there and get her. If i cant lure her out. I tried last night but i could not see her anywhere roosted i heard go up but could not see her. She came out in the yard twice after her jail break.

    Ok not a good evening yesterday with the new girls, tried to ontroduce them to their new flock i know i tried to fast, lesson learned. Opened the run to fill the water and one of the new easter eggers got out, man they are quick, she never came homr last night i think she roosted in the briars...

    Ok ggot the new gorls home had them in a dog kennel i set it in the run for about an hour all seemed ok and so i let them oit in yhe run and the crap hit the fan my SLW and SS are relentless on the new EE especially the la ender colored one .....i know they have to establish a pecking order now...

    Thanks Stake.....i think i will try that although i am out of grower and i dont want to get a 50 lb bag for just 3 weeks i am hoping the have a 20lb bag. Also what feed wouldcu recommend, right now i am using Dumor is there something better out there the local TSC only sales Dumor and Purina.
