Thanks so much! I candled them earlier and they were still alive luckily! I've never had problems with my incubator before so was unsure how many would make it!
Hi everyone,
So this morning I came to turn my eggs and realized my incubator had turned off in the night, i'm guessing the eggs would not of had the heat they need for around 12 hours but i'm not sure when the incubator turned off. I was wondering if they're still going to hatch? I have buff...
I have bot long hatched a few chickies to add to my backyard flock, I can usually tell the sex fairly soon but I'm not sure on this one who is a 5 week old dark brahma x. I originally thought it was a female but the waddle and the bills look to big. What do you guys think? [/IMG][/IMG]

She looks much better today! The yolk sac is completely absorbed but there is still a bit of blood that hasn't completely been absorbed from the sac, should I tie this or will it just fall off on its own? Also she's not drying very quick in the incubator as the other chicks did, is this because...
Thankyou for your advice! I was so worried and didn't know what to do to help her! Hopefully it'll dry off! It's looking a bit better now after a few hours!
I have a BO chick that had pipped the wrong end of the egg and I left s/he for 24 hours to see if it could zip itself out. It couldn't and the beak and the egg shell around it was also very dry so I dampened it and removed some of the shell (none of the shell skin underneath) and it hatched but...
