    I checked on him today, he seems to be doing better. He is getting around more but still lays flat more than moving. I gave him and my other chicks a hard boiled egg because I read that it is a good source of riboflavin, they loved it. The chicks toes are not curved under and it doesn't appear...

    Also I will for sure check it's toes out. Being a silkie it has funky feet and toes so I'll double check to see if any happen to be curved under.

    Sorry I haven't gotten back to you, as of how it walks I honestly am not sure if it does on its hocks or elbows because when it does move it flaps it's wings all over to move, making it difficult to see. I will watch it closely tomorrow and get back to you! I will look into some vitamins for it...

    I'm not sure what happened to this little chicks, for weeks it was running around with its siblings and my 4 other chickens with no problems. We brought it home along with its sibling because the weather was crappy and one of its siblings had already died because it couldn't make it back inside...

    I have two 6 week old Silkie chicks and cant tell the gender of them. I know they are young yet but your thoughts would be helpful. Also what should I look for in order to tell the gender? Thanks!
