    Daisy and Daphne now go to their cage door and talks really loud so I will let them out to run around. I had no clue little ducklings were so smart at such a young age...I'm loving it :)

    Well I haven't seen them shiver but they do huddle together under the lamp as soon as I put them in the cage sometimes so I agree I'm allowing them to go to long at times. I feel so bad when I make them get out and they aren't ready but safety has to be first. Thank you do much for your advice...

    Thank you so much I need all advice I can get. I don't check with a thermostat I just make it as warm as I would for one of my children. Now I am guilty of leaving them in there sometimes when it cools off because they literally don't want to get out. I will make sure to get them out before that...

    I am from Lubbock Texas. We have 6 children and just recently purchased 2 ducklings to train to be house ducks. It has started off as a challenging adventure but it's worth it. I would love to hear from anyone that had a duck living in their home. All advice is great advice at this point.
