Hello guys. I am reading mixed reviews on here about spacing for chickens. Does it matter by breed? What I would like to know is I have ten chickens, one EE, two BUFF Orpingtons, four Rhode Island reds, and three SLW- how much space on the roost for each chicken? Also for nesting boxes should...
Okay thanks. We do provide grit. And do not use DE yet but it's the only thing I've read about to give to them or throw in with their dust bath. I haven't found "to properly Medicate and provide for your chickens do this " type of thing like cats with de worming , flea and tick meds etc for...
Hello guys! My three week old buff Orpington was out of the cage to be loved by my boyfriend and I, we noticed she was yawning, and yawning and yawning. We put her back to sleep and she was still doing it? Constant, she's eaten and drank since been five minutes and she hasn't done it. Do you...
Okay thank you for advice I will try switching food! And cut out treats. She is a very loving bird here she is now spending time to get away from feather eating. I really don't want to have to keep her away all the time unless last ditch try I feel so bad if I had to do that to her

That is so funny we've been calling them her cheeks. She defiantly has them! Wow , so she might be an EE! That's such a surprise to me we got the last three "buff orpingtons " at the place along with our other breeds.
I got her with two other buff orpingtons. She has been different such as , bigger, lighter wings, and the obvious green feet. Could she be a totally different breed? Or half? My boyfriend thinks possible EE? What do you guys think? And if she is No a buff will she get picked on for being only...
