Three week old chick yawning constant

Hello guys! My three week old buff Orpington was out of the cage to be loved by my boyfriend and I, we noticed she was yawning, and yawning and yawning. We put her back to sleep and she was still doing it? Constant, she's eaten and drank since been five minutes and she hasn't done it. Do you think just something stuck in her throat? What should I do if it happens again?
Next question I read threads before posting this on gape worm, what do I buy to prevent worms etc besides DE for my chicks? What are the things you treat your chicks/chickens with. This scared me half to death. Please let me know what to do if it happens again! Thanks!

She was probably adjusting her crop. If she gets anything to eat besides chick starter, such as grass outside, she will need chick grit available to help digest food. You don't need DE or to prevent worms in a 3 week old chick. DE can be dangerous to lungs if used inappropriately, and it does not work against worms when it is wet inside the gut. When your chicks are close to laying age, you can get droppings checked for worms by a vet. Valbazen is a good wormer that is only given 1/2 ml orally once and again in 10 days for a 5 pound hen.

Okay thanks. We do provide grit. And do not use DE yet but it's the only thing I've read about to give to them or throw in with their dust bath. I haven't found "to properly Medicate and provide for your chickens do this " type of thing like cats with de worming , flea and tick meds etc for example. Can you get this medication you mentioned at the feed store or only via vet?
