Solar is something I have always been interested in.It is just a crack for fresh air not a completely open a window.
I understand him wanting to prep especially if he has anxiety. This world is falling apart worse each day! It is ok to be prepared for storms and such, but don't think it will save you!
We would really like to get a generator one day, but they are so high!! I think they are a lot better option then the buddy heaters. The only thing with generators is you have to fuel it so you have to have that. And I don't understand solar panels, but hubby says they come with their own costs as well.![]()
I asked Robert about that too. He said the CO comes from the flames not the tank.Granny, I got the long hose so the propane tanks were outside the house. I put up extra carbon monoxide alarms and DH Still freaked out really bad
I hate when people do that to me. I cant breath and I will ask them to go wash off what they can and if its on their shirts they can either seal their shirt up and wear one of mine, take it outside or go home. The aids are told before they come to not wear it here.DH also freaked out at the perfume the home nurse was wearing. I will admit it was strong but I am more tolerable then he is
oh, the one he was looking at was $69. at TSC.I'm thinking..300 dollars...!
I was referring to what Cap said about it being almost empty..and it cost 300 to fill it! Wasn't that long ago it was filled.Solar is something I have always been interested in.

No, the new house has natural gas. The log cabin has propane. We didn't use the propane much while we lived there, because we fed the wood stove. Now we use more electric because the house also has electric heat.Propane..in your new home??
Yes. Over $4.00 per gallon. The fireplace burns all the time. And there has been a huge hike in electric rates recently.I was referring to what Cap said about it being almost empty..and it cost 300 to fill it! Wasn't that long ago it was filled.
I realized that about 5 mins. past my post. LOL My comprehension seems to be slipping.I was referring to what Cap said about it being almost empty..and it cost 300 to fill it! Wasn't that long ago it was filled.
I wish I could transfer my fire place from wood to propane. It was like that before as the hook ups are still there for that and the oven too. Never did like an electric stove.Yes. Over $4.00 per gallon. The fireplace burns all the time. And there has been a huge hike in electric rates recently.
