hello all I fell off the bbc wagon for awhile but its spring and chick fever is in the air. but I lost all but one chicken and all of my ducks last year. took the kids to waverly/antique acre sale and bought 4 new ones for fair. of course the prettiest one died already so i'm on the fence...

story county poultry done yay. drake runner got reserve champ. jersey giant hen got purple, 12 blues, 3 reds and 1 white. bantam cross breeds i told them wouldn't do well and a molting duck. goats did well too with 1 best of class and 8 blues.

hello all have a question what do you wash your chickens with. kids are getting ready for fair. have 12 chickens, 4 ducks, 2 pigions going in. i will not stress out i will relax anyway any suggestions would be awesome.

spring brings lots of noise. my roos are fighting over my poor hens. the ducks are at each others throats, but its funny to see a call riding a pekin. I'm waiting on prego goat to decided when to drop a kid or 3. lovin the weather. when is waverly? i have a lovely JG roo that needs a new home

waverly is a family affair for me we take all the kids and a bunch of cages and a list. plus a certain amount of $ in pocket. that way you don't come how with a parrot, puppy, fox, or a kangaroo. I've learned the hard way we've came home with 2 of those.

none look as nice as there mama did but she vanished on me so and the best looking chick got grabbed by neighbor dog. but they hatched on my youngest b-day so he really wants to show them and county fair.
