    Duck vomitting water

Doesnt seem swollen. I had just picked her up for the second time. I had been holding her, then put her down to hold a different duck. She came back (she seriously likes cuddles) and I picked her up again and she started doing it about a minute later. She doesnt seem weak or anything though. Im...

Same as we have done evert day since they were three days old. Im sure they could pick up things in the yard I dont...

    Duck vomitting water

We have six week old Kahki Campbells that seem super healthy. My girl Clover is a super lovey girl who enjoys an evening cuddle before bed (no, seriously... she loves cuddles). But tonight while holding her she started vomitting clear liquid all of a sudden. She did it several more times too...

    Is my duckling sick?

Thanksfor the sticky post! Hadnt seen that. Yes, they have a kiddie pool outside they get to play in twice a day and then once a day also in a tub in the house. It has been near 80 all week so they really enjoy the outdoor play. They also have access to two different waterers 24/7 that we...

    Do ducks need grit?

I was actually wondering this as well. How much grit for ducklings? Right now they go out twice a day but they usually play in the pool more than anything. Should it be mixed in with their crumble or provide a dish to the side with just grit in it?

    Is my duckling sick?

So one of my little darlings (who happens to be the largest) makes this noise every so often when he's breathing. I can best describe it as, when (as a human) you have a stuffy nose on one side and it opens up for just a second then closes again. I certainly hope that makes sense. It's not a...

    Duckling legs weak... what's wrong?

I found some niacin capsules (100mg) and added them to the water. Also increased exercise a bit by letting them play in the garden several times a day. She still seems weak in the legs though. Not like she's spraddle legged or anything. She'll be standing and her knees will start shaking like...

    Duckling legs weak... what's wrong?

The feed has niacin in it. The feed store guy raises ducks and said that it has the right amount. We also feed veggies and bugs. I wondered about the niacin but it doesnt look like it... just sort of weak and shaky when shes been up too long. I wish I could figure out how to upload my video to...

    Duckling legs weak... what's wrong?

We have two nearly one week old khaki Campbell ducklings. The female seems to be a little weak in the legs. She walks around and then her legs will start to shake and then she'll squat down. It's like her legs are weak and can't hold her up any longer. She otherwise seems fine. She eats and...
