    Mealworm farming

I don't know if this question has been asked or not, and I'm not looking through the hundreds of posts, but can the beetles and mealworms live together? I know I have to pull the pupae out and put them on their own, but I as wondering if the other two stages can successfully cohabitate. Thanks...

Chicken math really hit her hard. I'm trying to get her up here for a visit, but she may leave with a car full of chickens if she does that!

Would you be interested in trading my female for a male? I was hoping to get some eggs from her before Thanksgiving.

Ok, I finally got a picture to upload. It looks to be two females then. That still makes me mad that I was supposed to get a pair.

I got these 4ish months old bronze turkeys today. They were supposed to be a male and female pair, but I think they are the same gender. Can anyone confirm or deny this?

I need some wise advice. I have 2 turkeys in with my chickens and ducks. I want to let them out to free range a bit, but I'm scared they won't come back like everyone else. Has anyone had any experience with this? Can turkeys be trained to return to the coop, too?

    how to tame a rooster

Thank you for your advice; however, that may be ideal for you in your circumstances. Under MY circumstances, (i.e., I have no children, no nieces or nephews, nor other visitors) I am ok with him being afraid of me. I also need a rooster as a means of protection for my hens on the farm where I...

    how to tame a rooster

I did this yesterday with my huge black copper maran rooster. It worked. I'm sure I'll have to do it again, but it really worked. It was a better alternative to taking off his spurs, or ultimately killing him.

Thank you! I just hatched OE this week and posted them in 4 different places, but no one was interested. Can you give any advertising tips or where is a good place to post them? And I'm supposed to be getting more FBCM this weekend, which that is what someone asked me for while posting the...

Hey everyone! I'm in Cheatham County. Can anyone tell me what breeds are in demand around this area? I've had chickens for about 2.5 years now, but have just decided to get into breeding, as well as raising pheasants and quail. I just hatched out Olive Eggers this week, but no one seems to be...

My boyfriend and I have decided to get more into breeding, but we're having a hard time finding homes for our hatches...
