There were no wounds. They both looked fine the day before. What is fly strike? -

They were on her back above the tail and down into her tail. Her feathers were just gone in that area and she looked fine the day before. -

I have lost 2 of my adult, female pekin ducks in app. 3 months time to the same problem . They suddenly, like overnight, look really dirty and lose feathers in their backside and tail area. Upon closer inspection there were tiny worms on their skin. Please help! I don't want to lose any more! -
