Very strange. Is it possible they had wounds there? They were on her back above the tail and down into her tail. Her feathers were just gone in that area and she looked fine the day before.

2 ducks wouldn't die from wounds overnight. I would think that it might be fly strike but I doubt its from wounds, it would take longer and they said she looked fine.Very strange. Is it possible they had wounds there?
Thank you so much! I think you're probably correct, though I didn't see any wounds. I so appreciate the help and info from both of you!http://www.poultrydvm.com/condition/fly-strike
This has good info. I don't know if it's Fly Strike tho. The feather loss and rapid death don't seem right......
I definitely will!Your welcome! I would look over the ducks in the morning, check for maggots and wounds so this won't happen again.
Flystrike can kill them very quickly.http://www.poultrydvm.com/condition/fly-strike
