i have two coops leading into a run. the chickens sleep in one and i was hoping to have the ducks in the other. both coops have steep ramps. Would making it more gradual work or maybe making steps?
I just got two ducks that are now mixed in with my 10 chickens but i cant seem to get them to go into the coop at night. The coop has a ramp that goes up so im guessing that may not be able to even get up there. The problem is, i keep the food in there so it doesnt get ruined which means they...
she has been having trouble using her legs. Can't jump over the roost that is 3 or 4 inches high. when i go to catch her she tries to run away and i put out my hand to stop her and sheruns into it and falls a little.
I looked up cocci and it doesnt look like she has it i havent seen any symptoms. She was also eating when I put food in front of her and the poo didnt seem to have blood in it. Unfortunately i threw the poo into the woods.
it is possiable that there hasnt been food for a few days but the other chickens have been fine. I looked up symptoms of mareks and coccidiosis and it doesnt look like she has either. If there is something wrong with its crop how could i fix that?

I just got 8 hens 7 of them are about 8 weeks old and the other is about 12 weeks. I found some more hens to get, a 5 or 6 week old legbar and two 13 week old ameraucanas. i figure the ameraucanas will be bonded becasue they are both coming from the same place. im more worried about the legbar...
yeah, i heard about someone who accidentily gave pullets who were too young the wrong feed, it was laying feed. He found them later dead with blood coming out of thier rear ends.
I just got my seconds flock of 8 chickens and was going to get a few ducks but the lady that was going to give them to me (she is very sweet) sadly lost about a dozed ducks, chickens, anda bunnies. I feel so sorry for her. anyways, im not getting ducks because she has none to give. so im going...
