    ivermectin for horses-can it be used for chickens?

    Just wondering if Ivermectin I use on horses (paste) can be used on chickens. Thought I read on forum in past that people have used a pea sized dab into chickens mouths. Have used the Wazine in water, but heard Ivemectin good for mites. Any thoughts? And can I use this after I already used Wazine?

    thanks-will post the info in emerg as you suggested. Mrs. Goose is the ONLY one laying. Saw Mr. Goose's "equipment" one day when he was trying to bother Mrs. Goose so have no doubts about his gender. So eggs are all hers and hers only. Maybe she should go in Guiness Book of World Records??

    Chicken limping - possibly attacked by hawk

    I had a chicken that had a piece of heavy wood dropped on her foot (accidentally by grandson) and limped around for days. I really thought her foot was broken, but couldn't see anything wrong. It took about 3 weeks of hobbling around, but now she is just fine and crabby as usual.
