I was looking more into it, but wasnt able to find any...
I have a RIR hen, and 2 BO hens that have been laying consistantly and egg a day for at least the last three weeks. All of sudden they have stopped laying. The birds are at my parents in laws house
currently, and my sister in law has been taking care of them, and I thought maybe it was just she...

Yep, this is true. Sienna didnt start laying till recently. Honestly, when I first saw the pics, I saw the head, and said roo, but the tail feathers are off.. These are both of my RIR, Onyx, my Roo, in the middle..
Ben patient. I thought she would never lay as well, but its all in...
So, I have finally decided to go "outlaw" (chickens are illegal in Gilroy, Ca. city limits...) and will be moving my girls from their home at my parents in law house, to our backyard. In doing so, I will have to get rid of Onyx, our RIR roo. After much consideration, we are going to do it...
Dont post much on here, but got some of the largest eggs we have gotten since my girls have been laying.. They have been laying now for about 3 weeks, and I have been getting a constant 2 a day, from three girls. Dont quite know if that only from two birds, or if they are taking turns each day...
Got some more pics in the light today. Only really had time to build the door today, to much going on. Saturday I plan to make a lot of headway, as long as my wife will let me work.. :-)
And of course, cant forget the birds. :-) Onyx (on top), and Sienna..

I have heard that you can use them as waterer's too, and I think there is a page on it here.. here it...
I was recently gifted the money to finally build the coop that i want by my parents!!
I borrowed this design, and made a few of my own modifications.. https://www.backyardchickens.com/web/viewblog.php?id=32956
Im going to shrink it some, making it 8'x4', and gunna put the nesting box on the...
The feed store that we ought these from labeled them as Ameracauna's, but didnt know even an approximate age.. Any thoughts??
(There is no bedding there, but it was on its way inside.. )
Morgan Hill here, with the birds residing in San Martin (only about 10 minutes from us..) at the in-laws. We live in a townhouse, so cant have them here..
Well, I went and got some yogurt for the birds today, as a treat.. They didnt know what to do with it at first.. Aurora, my RIR Hen was the only one that would take it on the outside of the coop.. (It looks dirty, cause I was trying to get them to taste it, so I added some scratch..)
Once I...

We are 30 minutes south of San Jose.. Birds are located about 10 minutes further south from us, at my wifes parents house.. They have 5 acres, and have a herd of dairy goats, so the birds fit right in
The coop was a free rabbit hutch that I found on Craigslist, that I added walls to...
