He was given to me along with some barred rock hens so I assumed he was a barred rock as well but someone mentioned he wasn't. Just hatched 4 babies so I was wondering what their mix would be.

Let them out of the run into the yard yesterday and noticed he was limping on right leg. Eating, drinking and mounting the hens just fine. Still using it to scratch around too.

there are almost 9 weeks. The mom is barred rock and I thought my rooster was as well but he must not be.

So I am thinking the three darker ones are hens and the ol white one is my rooster.
