    Help with low hatch rate

LOL I did this the first time ... ramped up humidity ... then realised my error. The hatch ended up okay but I have a similar incubator ... a generic China made unit that probably speaks Chinese as well.

When science and technology don't speak the same language (humidity issues / sticky chicks)

Yes found them on eBay - they call them pocket scales and go to the 0.01g for about $8 so that is awesome. Now to deal with this hatch ... 8 chicks so far and the last 2 with curled up feet, gooey fuzz ... so clearly we have some issues here. No losses yet but there are still 5 eggs in the...

Still air V. Circulated air incubators?

I realise this is an old thread but I think this is a really good idea because I am having problems with the chicks getting stuck to the egg shell in our fan forced bator. Does anyone else move to a still air after lockdown??

    Possible cure for aspergillosis/Brooder pneumonia

It is certainly worth a try and I can tell you here and now, I am so glad I happened onto your post because we had about run out of options for our little 3 day old light sussex chick --- but 2 days after going the garlic path, he turned around and is now eating normally, breathing normally and...
