    Thanks, guys they are new only about 19 weeks old. I have only had them for about 2 weeks. I have oyster shell as well as I have them on a 16% laying ration and of course I do give them a little candy corn from time to time Thanks

    Ok you guys have been a blessing to my wife and I as we have moved into this endevor of being the best at raising Chicken as we can..I now have a new question my little ladies have arrived and are producing about 6 eggs per day but one of them every night lays an egg that has no real shell on it...

    My wife and I are raising Netherland Dwarf rabbits. We have added chickens to the mesh.....I bought a 12X16 building to devide up between them ..........I have added outside runs on both ends to let them all have outside fun areas.......I am just praying they get along as neighbors...

    I too am a newbee and have researched soooooo many places. One place that has been a wealth of knowledge for me has been a book called Back Yard Barn Yard. You can find it at any good book store. I bought mine at Tractor Suppy. Good luck, I can't wait for my little girls to arrive.

    Howdy and should I cover my run?

    Along the same line of covering a coop. I am building mine and am wondering if I need to bury the wire at the bottom of the run or just run 1X6 around the bottom to strengthen the wire..... I have seen it done both ways to keep them safe.....the board will be so much easier

    So the 4 square foot includes the run as well?????? We really are looking forward to their arrival.....The bunnies are netherland dwarfs....they will both have their own space secure from each other but in the same building.
