This is probably my final post in this thread. I was able to hatch 6 of the 7 eggs we put into lockdown by day 22. My fifth Bantam Cochin out of five hatched around 2:30 AM. We only had one Silkie out of six original eggs hatch and that's probably all we'll get at this point. So here's the...

It's day 22 and I have 6 out of 7 hatched. All of my Bantam Cochins hatched, but so far, and probably only one Silkie made it. So here's the pic. I'm very disappointed with the Silkie eggs we got from the silent auction. But the eggs from my own birds.

Four Bantam Cochins and 1 Silkie so far on day 21 for 6 of the 7 set. One Silkie and one Bantam Cochin to go and the Cochin has already pipped. I hope Silkie #2 is just slow for my daughter's sake.

Well, number 4 made it into the big wide world. Number 3 just had to welcome number 4. That leaves 3 eggs left. Two that have to be Silkies and one I set a day later than the others.

You are certainly on the right track. That wave is a developing duckling and it will be coming along in due time. No worries mate, as they like to say down under.
