I don't know what they'll look like yet but I'm very excited to see! There are people near me who are interested in some of the ducklings and if anyone is looking for ducklings I'm happy to send them off to good homes!
Here's my first, I'll call him #1, khaki x magpie. The next few eggs I put in the incubator one at a time, dumb. After this I began putting them in in groups of 6. Now all 3 are laying daily so my incubator is filling up quickly!
I have 6 incubating and will have 6 more going in on Saturday. Khaki Campbell x Magpie. First group of 6 will should begin hatching mid January and second group should be end of January. As this is my first attempt at hatching duck eggs my dates are close but may be off by a few days.

I use an outdoor rubbermaid storage container similar to this. I have a thick layer of straw on the floor and when it's time to clean it out I just open both doors, shovel out the straw and hose out the interior. I also keep the top propped open at night (with chicken wire around it) for...
I got her from a couple that raised her from a hatchling indoors and she was their only duck. She's 7 months old and had been laying for 2 weeks prior to me acquiring her.
