A 2 nd exterior run is being built as a second safety around the coop with mesh on that run.

The mesh is halfway up, figuring the rest of way up is metal as well as roof. We are putting a galvanized roof on top. The only thing that may climb up and get through I guess would be a mouse or Rat. But if chickens are in coop at night- would a rat come out during day to climb coop?
