:welcome i think those coops you see at tsc are for about 4 chickens so you should be good. Some places do make you get a minimum number of birds at our local rko its 6. I have an acre and 12 birds and i don't think they have even seen it all in a year. Good luck.
I'm far from a know it all when it comes to keeping chickens. One thing I do know is when I went to pick up feed for my flock I saw those soothing red lights and heard the chirping from the bins. I knew then I shouldn't have even went to look at them, next thing I knew there was a box of 7...
Welcome to byc I am also from northeast ohio the west salem area. I was wondering if all the birds had been rehomed I would be interested if not. Thanks :welcome
Good luck. I plan on getting into the breeding and incubating. I have enough room for a nice sized flock i want to do some cross breeding and see what they turn out as. Have you had any luck with cross breeding?
Which way are you moving? Im in west salem north east ohio. I need a few hens my last coop was broken into so i have a lonely hen. Not sure about the distance to you though. Maybe we could work something out if i pay for your gas or something.
