5 wk old with some issues

Only the largest bird tries to dominate her around the feeder. Could be why she has become smaller. The red eye and wet nasal discharge though appears to be something else. I am considering going to see if I can find some Tylan water soluble and give her.

5 wk old with some issues

I have a 5 week old RIR from my local co-op. All has been well but she has shown signs of falling behind the others in size. She behaves usual as far as I can tell. She does act crazy hungry when I feed them. I have noticed the largest Buff has begun dominating her when she tries to eat...

    Coop box input wanted

I have begun construction of an A frame moveable coop. It is 10'L x 6'W x 5'H. I was thinking of making the coop box 4'L x 44"W x 27" at peak... I will be housing 6 birds. What are your thoughts on the box size?

    A Frame Tractor

Numbers I see for the amount of room per bird is around 3-5 sq ft per bird. I have 6 gals so anything 4x8 would suffice would it not?? That's the size at least of the A frame I was planning to build. Perhaps even 5x10. Thoughts or comments??

    A Frame Tractor

I am of the mind to build an A frame coop and run to move around. I may do free range later and periodically. Can anyone share their thoughts and experiences using one. Preferred floor space on the ground and in the nesting spaces per bird, height and length, etc etc. Any build plans?? Thanks

Sick young chick... Thoughts and advice
