Hello Everyone! We are new here and we have just acquired our 1st flock for our family. We have 7 chicks total. 2 Rhode Islands and 5 Buff O's. They are a little less than 2 weeks old. One girl very sick right now however. I am a second generation Chickeneer hoping to learn lots.

Welcome!

I see that you have posted on the ER Forum with regards to your sick girl; best wishes to you and her.

I hope you enjoy being a BYC member. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun.

If you would like to share pictures and stories of your flock, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out

Hope the E/R folks can be of help. The most details will help them, as they cannot examine the chick in person. Sometimes a photo is of assistance.
