    Horizontal auto door opener

They move fairly slow so unless the chicken is extra stupid they have plenty of time to get outta the way. This really is a great invention

    Horizontal auto door opener

I have a vertical door also from Fleming. It works great. Most vertical doors work with gravity, which won't work horizontally. But the new space I have to work with will not accommodate vertical. Does this company have a horizontal model?

Don't know what breed or gender you have? Click here!

I'm having trouble identifing this breed. I ordered 5 dark brown egg layers from the hatchery. It said they would be marans or barnvelders. I thought it was a wheaten maran but it has no feathers on its feet. Any ideas?

    Who's Laying ?

Ok, I have 15 chickens. One day I get 11 eggs, the next day I'll get 12 eggs etc etc. How many of the 15 do you suppose are laying? I cannot figure it out by watching. Thanks

    Nesting box and cracked eggs

No nails out screws sticking up. It's when the eggs fall that it cracks. Is there mats that I can stick to bottom? That they won't scratch out? Under bedding?

    Nesting box and cracked eggs

I started out with pine shavings in nesting box and the chickens kick most of it out. Put in natural laying mats with paper backing and they dig that all out of the way to lay eggs on wood. My eggs are getting cracked. What mats can I get that will stay in place and protect the eggs??? Thanks
