13 week and 8 week old Silkies what’s your guess?

I have 2 White silkies that are 13 weeks old and an 8 week old buff mix that I would like some opinions on. The buff looks like it may be a rooster to me, but I’m still stumped on the 13 week olds!! I greatly appreciate any opinions!! 😁

    11 wk Golden Sebright

Thats a hen! At 11 weeks, a male would have wattles and have a redder comb. Would probably be crowing too! Here is one of mine about 9 weeks old.

Would like opinions on these two?

I’m sure it will take a couple weeks to find a home anyway. But I’m pretty confident they are Roos. None of my other pullets of these breeds had this much comb with color at this age.

Would like opinions on these two?

I cannot have roosters where I live now. I was pretty convinced that these two are cockerels and posted to a local group trying to rehome them. However, someone posted saying I was wrong, so I want some more opinions!! Thanks in advance!!😁 They are about 5 weeks old.

    Leghorn Pullets or Cockerels?

All of the leghorns shown in these posts appear to be pullets to me. At 4-5 weeks cockerel leghorns will have a large red comb and waddles. The pullets combs are larger than most breeds at this age, but they stay yellow. This is the best guide I have found for leghorns...

Silkie burnt head puff on heat plate!

I wasn’t aware that they even got that hot, I’ve never used one. I did a quick google search and all I can find are some other larger chicks that got burned in their wings and backs!

Silkie burnt head puff on heat plate!

The skin does appear to have some damage, I tried ti get a better picture of it before I re-applied the ointment. Don’t mind the greasy face feathers, that was from the ointment!!

Silkie burnt head puff on heat plate!

I just got this Silkie chick and the breeder said it burnt its poof on a heat plate. It does seem that the skin was damaged as well. I didn’t care, it was so cute I couldn’t resist!!🥰(it was the only other unclaimed Silkie she had, aside from the blue I got) It seems perfectly healthy acting...

1,8,9,and 10 look like OEGB’s either silver Duckwing or bbr. 2,3,4 look like black Cochin. 5 Golden Sebright, 6 porcelain D’uccle. 7 agree with buff Cochin.

please tell me they are all hens.

At 5 weeks I would expect a larger redder comb on a leghorn cockerel. All look pullet to me!!
