Just noticed this today and i thought it was something stuck on her beak but it is very hard. Ive been waiting 30 weeks for her to start laying and she squated today so losing her would really suck.

I actually gave it away i think my friend said it looked like a girl. He never owned chickens before so im not sure if he is correct

If she doesnt start by the end of the month i dont think she will. Shes missing alot of butt feathers and i can see her skin and and her feathers arent as soft so im hoping she does.

I was just wondering why my hen has not started molting. She was born March 2017 and this should be her first time molting

Ive tried giving her treats by hand multiple times but she never eats out of my hand she was hatched with 1 other sister and 3 brothers but her and another rooster never trusted me but her sister just starter layin eggs and she is way more calm comes to me and i dont struggle with her
