I've had at least 3 people ask how chicken eggs are fertilized. The same way any other animal's eggs are of course, but they thought the rooster sat on the eggs after they were laid to fertilize

A full crop is a sign that they are eating normally, unless their breath smells fermented.

Not sure about the breeds, but I can answer one question for you still. An Easter Egger is an Ameraucana mix. They look similar and EEs still have the trait that lays multicolored eggs. Ameraucanas are harder to come by and a lot of the time they’re mixed up and you’ll end up with an EE instead.
