That is awesome! When I was in 4-h I ordered my bantams off them they arrived all alive and made it I ordered the starter gel for there water. If you didn't I would go to tractor supply or rural king and get some just to give them a jump start. :ya
I don't see why you couldn't as long as it is strong enough to hold them. If you don't think so check into the little green garden fencing it's pretty light you might be able to put wheels on one end and a handle on the other. Hopefully I was able to help in some way
I would say she probably did she doesn't look that big when she is ready she will start laying in the same way I'm not running all over looking for them. I like eggs but I enjoy having the chickens More. Mine would lay under the trees by water troughs in the dirt
I guess you could that would be up to you. All of my hens laid really good and I let them out and they quit laying inside except for a few I found a big clutch of eggs under the pine trees
He probably does. They are like a potato chip you just can't have a few. I finally convinced him to let me get some last year and I had a price limit in what I could spend on every thing so I got the sale chickens $2 instead of $4 twice as many talk about someone speechless.
I would have a run on the coop that you use. Mine had a run and run of the yard every day until this week when something killed 3 of them and attached one in front of my house but she got away. But we live out in the country surrounded by woods and our horse fields
