    What type of dog is best?

    I have a big German Shepherd- he was 7 when I got chickens... he’s very well trained but still needed about 3 days of supervision and corrections to be good off leash with the chickens free ranging. He’s awesome now! He doesn’t even try to kill the roosters when they go after him. :)

    Well that explains a lot! I only was getting white eggs (hardly any) between her, two leghorns and a special needs Orpington. Good to know she could be laying the white eggs as well as the leghorns (although she’s been much slower to develop her comb)

    Getting into the Christmas spirit today

    Thank you! I did this on a whim during my Xmas decoration unpacking- I (unfortunately) usually don’t have extra time to create artwork ‘for fun’ but it’s because I’m booking a few months in advance now for commissioned pieces(so it’s not all bad since this is how I make my living) :)

    I’m guessing I have 2 boys and 1 girl. They are 8weeks old. My guesses are written on pic- Colors correlate to the same bird in each pic! Blue Green Yellow

    Wow that’s awful! That really sucks that happened to you. This is really good information. Some of my work is not “original” (I have used paintings as a reference to better my technique) but I always state it’s not my original idea and never sell those pieces/always give the original artist...

    No I did this on a whim and used a painting I found on google as a reference for the chicken- I added the hat... I usually work off photography and do high detail drawings/paintings. I was exploring my creative side here- definitely won’t take the credit for original idea regarding the chicken...

    On and off so I think they are getting the hang of it finally! I still have to physically put some under it when they decide to fall asleep near the food... I totally get the dog issues lol my gsd won’t use his house- unless it starts raining when I’m feeding him (I feed raw so he’s gotta eat...
