Can any Orpington Genetic Geniuses help me out? I have jubilee english orpington hens, The colouring is not my favorite... Any idea if adding in a different orp rooster will give me a good color or will I be stuck with mutts?
So I spoke with the breeder I got the flock from and the hen had ivermectin because a different breeding pen had mites, so she did her whole barn .
I checked for mites and none in sight.
I think its upper resp brought on by stress. Loading all the birds took 2 hours then another 20 min home...

door ( think igloo) and they will
burrow in there and be toasty as can be!

I let all my birds out of breeding pens and put my incubator away to focus on my Muscovys who are broody.
Well I got a surprise checking on one of my ducks when a little chocolate muffed and bearded chick peeked out!!!!
I took baby so momma can focus on incubating her clutch...

They were chirping loudly in the 30 min drive home once in the brooder they instantly started falling asleep! I dipped beaks in honey water and tried to show them food but they kept going limp!
