    Erratic Egg Laying Muscovies?

Here are pictures of one of the cages. The other is pretty much the same. As I said before, we have 5hens, 1 male in each cage. We feed them layer pellets and a little cracked corn each day, a little less then a half pound per bird. We move the cage around our lawn each day/every other day.

    Erratic Egg Laying Muscovies?

Hmm. I don't think it's a hidden nest. We have them in a cage that would be very hard to hide eggs. I'll post a picture of it. We have 6 ducks in each cage, 1 male in each cage...

    Erratic Egg Laying Muscovies?

Hi, We have 12 Muscovy ducks. 8 are hens. We've had them since Feb 13th, and have really enjoyed them. We have been getting a average of 1 to 2 eggs a day. When we first got them(and only had 9) we got up to 6 eggs a day. It was like that until the time change(we live in Oregon) and it started...

How can you tell what a Muscovy Duckling is?

Hi, I have 2 ducklings. Both appear to be about the same size, same feet, etc. They were born on the 14th of Feb. Their caruncles are starting to develop. Today when I came home, one of the other females was acting like she had been mated with, and aside from the ducklings, there are no male...

    Muscovy housing question

Hi! We have 12 Muscovy ducks. 2 are ducklings that we think are female but are not sure. They are 2 months old and no caruncles and the feet seem to be fairly in keeping with the size of them. Currently we have a cage that is too small, for 8 ducks. We have a small cage(for one two at the most)...

    Help!!!!

Actually what happened is not that we don't want them or anything. See, the people we got our other ducks from are moving, and this hen was sitting when we got the others - so we didn't get her. They have been going back and forth on giving us or not - they weren't sure if they could keep them...

    Help!!!!

We were just given a mama muscovy and her two babies. We have no place for them, as our other ducks would step on the babies most likely. Any thoughts on what to do quickly?? On a side note - why do ducks wag their tails?

    Hi from Oregon!!

Hi! My name is Emily. I am 14 years old, and love birds. I don't currently have chickens(though my family did a few years ago) but we do have 9 muscovy ducks that I am loving having! I am a quilter, and use old sewing machines, so that explains my name! I hope to be very active in the duck...
