    Thanks again. I got some oyster shell pieces from Tractor Supply and put it in a dog bowl in the Run. The Splash went right to it and began eating it just like food. It is really interesting how instinct and nature come into play.......my understanding now is that it is better to keep feeding...

    Great, I appreciate it. I have a feeling that the kit will be more of an intro to chickens and that I will have to build a much larger, sturdy space once my wife gets a little experience under her belt.

    Yes, I plan on adding additional run space at the end of the coop, another 40 square feet. Still only gonna get four chickens to begin with since the roosts I have will only accomodate that many.

    Thanks, Mostly remain in coup/run, we have lots of predators here, including hawks, coyotes, foxes, coons, possums, etc. Also, we have three dogs and one of them is a Golden Retriever/Australian Shephard mix....someone threw her out and she came to our place. She is a very intelligent...
