    She has not drank anything. I tried to give her a few drops with a syringe but she wasn’t swallowing and I got scared I could make it worse. I don’t have the tubing to tube feed.

    I don’t think it’s an infection. I think the feathers still have a sheath on them so the chicken wasn’t able to keep warm when the snow storm hit.

    I only noticed her a few hours ago and brought her inside right away. I gave her an epson salt bath and that’s when I noticed her feathers looking very strange underneath.

    It has been snowing the past few days, getting down to 16F at night. I just noticed one chicken very lethargic and with some frostbite on her comb. I have brought her inside the house now. She won’t eat or drink. Just lays and sleeps. Is it too late? Anything else I can try?

    Someone suggested to me to make a Craigslist ad asking to kill my chicken. There is someone I know whose parents have a chicken farm. I have considered driving the 2 hours and asking them to put my chicken down for me. It’s just that inconceivable to me right now.
