I think moving her bucket and all together she wasn't stressed and after all the eggs hatched I removed them from the bucket in a small pen they are doing great
She's a 4yr old Buff I gave her antibiotics first in her water and three days later I gave her wormer she already had diarrhea to start with I didn't see vent mites but I dusted her. I did give her eggs and probiotics and Gatorade she doesn't have the strength to stand but she seems determined...
Well I waited for a day and then moved the tub I'm glad to say she remained on the eggs and we now have 11 new additions.
I had a really bad experience the last time babies hatched with my other chickens because they ate the babies when they hatched and I'm sure it's probably one chicken but...
My hen is still not doing well I have given her antibiotics and wormed her checked her for mites. She has had diahrea for a week and her comb is flopped and pale from being enimic. She is still drinking and only eating soft food I give her but she's very weak. What more can I do.
I have a hen that is setting, the eggs should be hatching this week but she is in the pin with all the other chickens. The last time I moved her she abandoned her eggs so I'm scared to move her but this time she's in a feed tub if I move the whole thing maybe she won't abandon them?
I had some soluble penicillin and treated her for two days for any infections and I did massage her crop. I felt her abdomen and it was soft. I am going to the feed store soon and get a wormer
Well she just wasn't eating and her crop was full of fluid and coming out of her beak. I gave her some probiotics yesterday and a 1/4 of protandum and she actually ate some grits and eggs this morning and seems to be feeling better still not herself but signs of improvement
My hen is bobbling her head and has fluid coming out of her beak and her comb has flopped over there is no sour smell but has diahreah. Does anyone know what causes this. She is retaining fluid in her croup.
