wow can't believe I didn't think of powering the heat lamp haha. I have a generator so I could power the heating pad if necessary. they are inside, in a basement that is about 65 degrees.

So I am putting together a pre fab coop for my 4 chicks and I want to seal the wood as I am assembling it. what do you guys recommend as a sealer for a coop that is clear and won't leave a noxious odor for the birds on the inside? thanks!
I agree they never seen to be as big as they should be, but they look good compared to some homemade jobs that I see while driving around which kind of made my wife happier. I think based on the info you all have given me I will stick with 4 birds until I can add in some additional coop space.
