Once I got into school 2 had detached themselves from egg and flopping around... although one is shaking quite a lot? Also do their feet don’t look like they have opened up yet and I can’t remember if that is normal?

One is moving around like crazy but something is still attached to the egg ? Would it be ok to pull it off?

Hi ladies I was on here last year and received so much help regarding trying to hatch call ducks which I know is a nightmare. However since then I now have 8 but school wanted to try and hatch some from my eggs for the kids. However we are now day 31 and they internally and externally pipped...

They are all doing really well and growing fast... very active little ducklings... can’t wait to actually try and guess the sex of them so can name them. Don’t really go under the heat lamp but it’s actually hot here in uk for once. What age do yours go to live out? Read about 5/6 weeks?

And they are all friends and looking after lucky

♥️♥️ I’m totally in love... the mum was a apricot but they also had grey and silver ones if they mixed eggs up and Dad was mallard... don’t know sex yet which is hard to name them... but our little one is called lucky . Guys I really can’t thank you enough and will keep you updated on process’s xx

I have managed to find 2 call ducklings a week old that a local public country park sad I could have... they are now all together xxx

I really can thank you enough you have been a rock throughout this week... he is very active and nearly all fluffed up so thinking in a little while to get him out of the incubator into his box with heat pad... am I right they don’t need food for 24 hours or...

So after being so heartbroken yesterday I woke up this morning to the other one with a wing coming out... so just removed few bits of the egg... while he was really pushing and being noises and I am now the proud mummy to this little baby ♥️♥️

Thank you... it’s just heartbreaking didn’t think I could get so attached... I feel for you too but the others look beautiful... have they all hatched now xx
