    8 week australorp, Pullet?

We have 29 black australorps that are roughly 8 weeks (we don't really know, we've had them for 6 weeks and they were mostly feathered when we got them). A few are obviously pullets, a few are obviously roos. Then we have a bunch that could go either way, like this one. We are okay keeping them...

No clue of age on black australorps

Thank you! I should have also added that we have had them for 2 1/2 weeks, and when we got them they were "too old" to be at tractor supply. They were all getting feathers. I don't know if that changes anything.

No clue of age on black australorps

I am having a hard time deciding when I can "call it", withbthe sex of these babies. A few I am sure of, but because we have no clue how old they are, I don't want to s ees nd any away that could be pullets. And yes, I realize that this is almost certainly a cockerel.

    Age correct?

They do have some adult feathers. From other photos I’m guessing more 5-6 weeks. She just replied to an email and said she really isn’t sure when they hatched....she was kind of “flighty”

i got 12 chicks last week that were supposed to be 10 weeks. They look nowhere near as developed as other Icelandic chicks of that age. Was the breeder confused, can they vary in size by the way they are kept? I’m confused.

    Icelandic Chickens

They are supposed to be about 11 weeks old now, but seem so much smaller than all the other pictures I’ve found here of similar age. Could this be how they were raised (hatched then caged with many other chicks in fairly small...
