So this “hen” started to crow today lol. It’s 7 months old not mating or chasing any of the other girls. Always noticed a brighter red comb and feathering has changed. But it crows very weak now. Assuming it’s a male at this point.

i believe one of my barred rocks is not allowing some of the smaller pullets in at night. 5 of the 10 newbies have started roosting in nearby large bush at night. I go out and set them on the roosting bars. Plenty of space to roost at night more of an issue getting into the automatic door before...
At this age I am not sure making the boot for her would help? However I sat her on roost and she lets me straighten her toes out. It is 1 on each foot. Do you think it would be better to make a splint for it instead and tape around toe? It doesn’t seem to bother her now just want to try before...
