They don’t appear to contain any egg matter. Actually they are kind of greenish. When I hold her up she doesn’t move her legs at all and no I haven’t added any new chickens since last year.
Nothing looks wrong with her legs at all, they look perfectly normal. She’s never acted like this ever, neither have my other chickens. As for the poops, they’re nothing like usual. Yellow, runny, and very foul smelling. As far as I know she hasn’t laid any eggs recently and her lower belly is...
A few days ago I noticed one of our older hens acting really weird. She was having a very hard time walking and would limp and fall a lot. We figured she was egg bound and soaked her in warm water for about 30 minutes but she still past nothing. The next day her condition got worse and she could...
About a week ago our one broody hens abandoned her nest, right after she hatched 1 of 4 eggs. I have been constantly placing her back on the eggs but whenever I go to check on her after I get home from school she will be up and walking around and the eggs would be cold. At night I'll check on...

UPDATE: She has currently been in the nesting box for a little over an hour now... should I keep her there and wait or give her a bath and examine her immediately?
They are fed layer feed, calcium layer pellets, oyster shell, and sometimes egg shells. They also have access to our garden and we allow them to forage around our property all day. They are rarely fed our leftover food.
Okay, I'll have to go get epsom salt and do the bath... She also has a perfect amount of calcium in her diet so I don't understand... she was just laying perfect, hard shelled eggs the day before so I don't know how it broke...
Just today I went out to visit my hens and found one sitting on the roost in our coop. I thought it was kind of weird that she was there since it was still quite bright out and the others were still out foraging, so I took her of the roost and realized that there was egg white and some sort of...
