Hey haven't been on here in a while but I wanted to know what type of chick I have. I got him/her from Ace Hardware today and they were just labeled as bantams.
Thank you to everyone who commented and helped me figure out some of the breeds of these babies. I just got home with two of them, might go back for a bb red since I have been looking for some. Here are some pics of the cuties that I got. ❤
Ace has got some more chicks in today and I might go get a couple later. I know the picture isn't of best quality (I'll update with more pictures when I get there) but from what you can see what are the possible breeds of these chicks. The yellow ones have feathered feet and the rest don't.
So my friend got a new chick and she wanted to know what exactly is it. She asked me since I absolutely love cochins but I'm not too sure myself. Does anyone know?
Thank you so much for letting me know that, now I can add some videos of the cutie as soon as I upload them to YouTube. I got him/her in late October which means he/she is about 7 weeks old at the most. I could be wrong lol. I'll have to go look back at the dates of some of the pictures I have.
It's name was originally Johnny (i kinda have a feeling it's a roo) but I don't wanna name it something I'll change later if it turns out i was wrong. But yes I'm so glad I got him/her and I have fallin in love with the breed as a whole as well. :)
This little fella is honestly one of the best chickens I have ever had in my life. I got her/him at Ace one day when looking for Barred Rocks. I purchase it thinking they were a Barred Rock but I was quickly informed that they were in fact a Cuckoo Maran. I was a bit disappointed since I wanted...
I'm looking for a Splash Cochin Bantam chick for my grandma. My grandma's birthday is coming up real soon and I was wondering if anyone in Florida are selling some. I purchased one for myself a couple months ago and my grandma just fell in love with it and the breed as a whole. I hope I can get...
So I went to Ace again today and they had a crested special st. run so I picked two chicks, one for me and one for my grandma. I'm not entirely of which variety these are so can you help me out? The first one is mine and the second is my grandma's.
