    She has previously been laying on the floor of the coop and nothing has happened to them, not gone or eaten. The first time i put the egg in the nest box to encourage laying in there, it goes missing!! No birds can get in as run is covered. If a rat etc was getting in then why wasnt it eating...

    No sticky residue. Checked everywhere with a torch..nothing. Cant upload any pics as im pants at things like that. Its a big plastic covered box with a big hole to get in, a ladder going up. Its approx 12" high with a ladder. It has proper chicken bedding. Thick and cosy.
