Here’s a crazy question. We were discussing what had we done differently before his behavior started. We used a new bag of hay that we got a Panera feed store inside his pen. Could this cause it? We’ve removed him from it since then but I don’t know what would hay do to make him do this.

Yes she did check for that. What I can tell you is he’s very irritated about that spot. I will call when they open to see if they have something to calm him with. I know he didn’t sleep all night because I’ve been with him all night. Will check again for a something unusual. Thank you

He turns in both directions. :( The vet saw no signs of an irritated preen gland. Will check with Vet about the PH! It is a good idea!

In and out of water, also in and outside. Getting to the point his sister is starting to worry, she’s been trying to “help” him. I’ve separated them for the moment. :(

Both crates that I have still gives him room to rotate around. I’ve even tried to personally calm him using a towel and the over under wrap method. He’s gotten calm for upto an hour but then just goes back to do it. Like two minutes in he will be “sleeping” but then wake up and start spinning.
