    Why not try comfortis? It's a little pill you give your dogs and it keeps fleas killed for a month+, works wonders. But, Dawn is a good flea killer.

    Half an hour to clip a standard? It takes me 1-3 hours to clip my miniature poodle, depending how I clip it. Haha.

    I vote poodle! If raised right they can do excellent with other animals and people, although they tend to bond to one person...I have a miniature poodle who is about to go on 13 she is always eager to please.

    Why would you get an animal you don't like or won't take to the vet? You could always just call your vet and ask what you should do or how much it would cost, he could have just pulled a muscle - just watch and see how it goes.
