I have been giving chick vitamins and I do daily leg massage. She grabs my fingers with death grips but struggles to walk. I was wondering about shoes and I will give that a go. Thank you!
This is how my chickens toes are and was thinking of ways to help her walk. She doesn’t extend her legs out very far. She walks in a stumbling way and uses her wings to keep balance. She grips my fingers with her toes and is eating and drinking.
I’m just going to lay her to rest. She was given to me back in June no one really knows her age. I just feel bad that she passed. She waited for me I suppose.
Today she is breathing harder and not wanting to stand. Still syringe feeding her electrolytes and water no interest in food. No change in abdomen. I have the picture of her stool attached. I did buy corid and poultry vetrx.
Her breath smells fine it’s just her back side. I have all my hens on Purina laying mash. I did moisten the food I left for her I have not tried scrambled eggs yet she will eat a little from hand but I have to stand her up and rub her chest.
