Hi brain trust, I need help! I was part of this June hatch a long and incubated 10 australorp eggs. I was left with 6 babies after a few week (2 died a few weeks after hatch) however I’m having a serious problem now. She does have pasty butt, and I check her bottom twice a day. She does eat but I think because she so much smaller she gets pushed out of the way. I’ve given her a small amount of vit c but she just cheeps like she’s stressed. I’ll wet down the mash and offer her some but she’s just so sleepy...- Ohlivia

Thank you, I haven’t tried anything g yet as I wasn’t sure, I have vit C tablets that I could use. Should I put her aside from the rest to have some time to recover or will that just make her decline faster?- Ohlivia

I have a question for the brilliant minds... my little June babes are a week old now and thriving however there seems to be a ‘runt’. It is considerably smaller that the others and seems to nap a lot, is this natures way of telling me that it may not make it?- Ohlivia

All my fluff butts have hatched!! Originally starting with 12 mixed coloured lorps I had 10 viable. One didn’t pip in the air sack and sadly passed and another egg just didn’t progress...I had to help a few as the membranes were drying out too much... but I have 8 beautiful peeps. I woke at 1:30am to my Bator beeping (usually something is to high/low) and this little cutie surprised me, my pip turned into a chick!! I’ve spotted one other ext pip as well. :wee- Ohlivia

I have officially entered lockdown on my very first hatch (due 1st) , I’m freaking a little about the air cells.
