    Why dosent my EE lay much!

    She is 3 yrs. and seems to quit laying in August, then she molted. All her feathers are back but she is still not laying. Should I do something different for her? She is one of three the other are Barred Rock and a Golden laced. The other 2 are still laying, but she is not.

    Thank you for your response, yes they have plenty of room, 12x20ft run. for 3 of them. and yes she gets plenty to eat, the picking is not constant, I just see it as mean...lol.. I did not know if there was anything I should do.

    I have one Barred Rock, one Golden Laced Wyandotte, and one Easter Egger. They have been together from day one about 9 months now. The issue is the Golden Laced keeps picking on the Easter Egger, is there anything I can do ? It is not so bad as to cause damage to her, but it does keep her on...

    Mildew (white) in run on the dirt.

    The mildew looks very white and almost looks like a cloud from the sky laying on the dirt... however very very small spots, but I believe this is just the beginning of something bigger if I don’t get controlled now.

    Sorry cant post a picture because I have already removed it. No I don’t have any litter in the coop. I rake up poo daily, there is shade in the area of the mildew.However we have had quite a bit of rain last week and the humidity is very high in the va beach area.

    This morning I found white fluffy looking mildew on the ground. I have read to use lime. how much and is the lime harmful to the chickens if they eat the pellets?

    I am a new chicken mama too.

    I have three different kinds, a Wyandotte,Easter Egger,Plymouth Rock. Located Va/Nc border. I have had my babies about 2 months,they are about 14 weeks old. So far its been fun, and complicated. I never knew there would be so much to learn. Thanks for allowing me to join the fun.
