Thank you so much for posting this!!! I was feeding my ducks Purina Duck Feed Pellets but they are SO HARD to find!! I asked my local Purina Distributor to order it for me TWO MONTHS AGO and I have gotten a run around. It was going to take a month to get due to it being a new product. Then...
Update on my duck. She is doing much better now. I have seen her eating duck feed and she has been in the pool a few times. She still won't eat their treats unless I throw them in the pool. My husband suggested not giving them the B Complex for a few days and that's when she started to improve...
Could a Call duck drake breed a small Cayuga duck? I already have the Cayuga ducks and just saw Call Ducks for sale near me. My husband wants small ducks but I didn't want a bunch of noisy ducks. So I figured this might be a good mix! :D
She could possibly be getting in when I don't see her. I have peeked out the window to see her on the ground while the other 2 are in their pool. When I got home today she was all dusty. I put her in the pool after I checked her throat but she jumped right out.
She seems to be doing it pretty much when I see her. I don't know if that's because I am around them or if she is doing it all day. I do think it's really strange that she won't get in the water.
3 short videos of her "twitching". I couldn't feel anything in her throat. She won't eat any watermelon so I will be trying the tomatoes next. She also doesn't seem to want to get into the water. She was in her house when I got home today which is rather strange for them.
I was kind of scared to give mealworms to them any sooner because of the protein in them. I will defiantly get some or both if they have them. Thanks again!!
Yes, I am giving them all 1 ml of B Complex each day. I was able to get her to eat a bit of romaine lettuce but when I gave her the B Complex yesterday she wouldn't eat it. I put half of it in thawed frozen peas with a small syringe. I also give them a bit of mixed veggies and then cut up some...
I see you have call ducks. I was wondering how noisy they are? My husband really wanted to get small ducks but I was afraid they would be to loud for my area. I may end up getting him another 1 or 2 ducks depending on how these do. Thanks for all of your help!
