what is the best/kindest way to cull quail chicks?

The chick was the last of the eggs, it pipped fairly big hole but I'm not sure if that was before or after I had taken other hatched chicks out of the incubator. But it was struggling, the membrane was brown and dried out. it was stuck to part of its beak and to a lot of the chick. So I did...

one of the quail chicks that hatched walks fine, gets around fine but sometimes when it goes to sleep its legs will be out long, they dont splay sideways just out the back. then when it wakes it scrambles to its feet ok and seems fine. will that right itself or does it need something to fix it?

I found some info on taping their toes, how long after hatching should I do that? or should I wait and see if it improves on it's own? sorry for so many questions! it's all just so new at the moment.

so the good news three chicks hatched ok and seem fine. I moved them to the breeder as they were pecking at the newly hatched one and one had been in there quite a long time. These ones seem good so far, eating drinking sleeping pooping etc. The fourth one still in the incubator has curled up...

So I've never incubated quail eggs (or any eggs!) before and thought I had overheated them early on so they wouldn't hatch but one actually did! so excited!!! But none of the other eggs are moving though or seem like they are doing anything, how long can this first quail stay in the incubator...

it's supposed to be a fan moving incubator but it was a cheap one so not the best quality.

it was a separate one I put inside the incubator, thanks for the welcome and replies. I think I may have cooked them but I moved the thermometer to the other side and it says 36 degrees so maybe they might be ok?

i have just put quail eggs in my incubator yesterday (never done this before) but this morning when I checked it said 38.6 degrees. Have I cooked them?? Or might they still hatch?
