    Omfg that's hilarious. Well I plan to pick up some newborn hatchlings tomorow. I'm told if I stick them under her at night she will likely accept them. I hope so because iv tried breaking her and shes relentless.........

    So my 2 year old brahma hen has decided to sit. But not on eggs.....on a golfball. I tried removing the golfball to another nest box as I put them in to try and deter pecking. She moves to the nest with the golfball.......why has she chosen this golfball as her offspring......

    They have lamps. I know alot of people are against them but they are well secured and caged. They have a little wooden shell box i made out of dowels. Just big enough for the little ones. He was in the corner by himself when i found him.

    I didnt think he could get in the water bowl but maybe he did. They have their own heat tho so i dont know......but from what i can tell its permanent and he will never be a normal rooster.....thats fine. I didnt hatch him with the need to be perfect

    Should I move my hen

    I had intended to move her into a dog kennel not far from where she is. Solid walls would keep her and the babies safe. But she could stay outside and get some sunshine. And I sit with her while she eats because if I dont the other birds come and bug her trying to take it from her.
